Days for Girls
Change the World Project – Days for Girls (January – April 2020)
The “Days for Girls” campaign is implemented by Partners Relief and Development among the Rohingya people who have fled genocide in Western Myanmar. This campaign is an initiative that helps girls and women to overcome the hardships they are facing, simply because of their periods. Days for Girls has developed a washable and reusable hygiene kit that allows girls to continue going to school, play sports and go about their daily life all month long. Days for Girls also provides education and menstrual care to some of the most vulnerable girls that can otherwise not access any such information.
You can give to this project the following ways:
- Give online via CanadaHelps. Click here and select “Change the World Fund” from the Fund menu.
- Mailing or dropping a cheque off at the church. Cheques should be made payable to Cedar Park Church, and designated “CTW”.
