small Groups

Everyone needs a circle

We love gathering on Sundays, but rows just aren’t the same as circles. Circles provide a safe space where we can truly see others and truly be seen. Circles, or groups, are places where our hopes, frustrations, dreams, and longings can be shared. In times of need, circles surround those in crisis to provide support. Circles can also invite others into a community of belonging, and well as roll out to serve others.

At Cedar Park Church, small circles of people (6-15) meet at various times throughout the week to share life together in the form of food, fun, laughter, growth, struggles, joys, dreams, and prayer. Circles are where we receive support and encouragement as we seek to live out the robust life of faith we see in Christ.

There are small groups that meet throughout Ladner, Tsawwassen, and North Delta.

Every group looks a little different. Currently, we are encouraging each group to design their own unique rhythm (when they gather and what they do). Some of our groups share in a variety of activities like prayer, service in the neighbourhood, social events, sharing meals together, book studies, etc.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on

toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another... – Hebrews 10:26-25
